Backup & Storage Engineer

Position Description:

• Experience: 3-5 years
• Required: Block Storage (IBM/Infinidat), Comvault (or similar) Backup
• Good To Have: NetApp (or any NAS product)
• Location: Domlur, Bangalore

Technical / Behavioral

• Strong administrative knowledge of storage subsystems and Block storage (IBM/Infinidat) / File storage (NetApp) & Object Infrastructure is a must.
• Strong knowledge on Commvault Backup software (preferred) or any backup software is must.
• Good working knowledge on Fiber Channel SAN & iSCSI protocol.
• Knowledge of any NAS product (NetApp).
• Knowledge of Hyper converged Environment.
• Administrative knowledge of one or more primary operating systems.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Good influencing skills, including ability to negotiate and execute strategies with peers and colleagues/partners across organizational boundaries.
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure Technology at an Enterprise level.

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role

• Knowledge of any Unix flavor is added advantage.
• Good Knowledge of any programming languages.
