Calypso Developer - Java

About the Role :

We are actively seeking suitable candidates with 5 - 10 years of hands-on Calypso experience and a strong background in Capital Markets.

Key Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience in Calypso implementation, configuration, and support
• Strong knowledge of OTC Derivatives across Front, Middle, and Back Office
• Expertise in asset classes such as IRD, FX, Commodities, and Equity Derivatives
• Experience with integrations involving DTCC, Bloomberg, AcadiaSoft, TriResolve, SWIFT, and other market utilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Engineer and customize Calypso modules to support diverse OTC asset classes, ensuring the platform meets the evolving needs of the trading desk.
• Develop high-performance server-side components using Java and Spring Boot to enhance the scalability and reliability of our core trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical financial operations.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks to maintain high code quality and accelerate the deployment of new features.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and provide technical guidance on the feasibility and implementation of new trading strategies.
