Role Overview :

As a Java Developer based in Chennai, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust enterprise-grade applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and project managers, to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and performance of critical client systems, ensuring seamless integration and high availability in fast-paced, agile environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Java and J2EE to meet evolving client requirements.
• Build and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot to enhance system modularity and performance.
• Design and optimize complex database queries and schemas in PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and application speed.
• Manage code versioning and collaborative development workflows using GitHub to maintain high standards of code quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Track development tasks, bug fixes, and project progress using Jira to maintain transparency and alignment with stakeholder expectations.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated proficiency in Java and J2EE development with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using the Spring Boot framework.
• Solid capability in writing efficient SQL queries and managing relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to work effectively within an agile team environment, utilizing tools like Jira and GitHub for project management and version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability to work in a hybrid environment, maintaining high productivity and collaboration across distributed teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, reflecting a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
