Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation and backend solutions using Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data workflows, and data integration solutions.
• Work with SQL, databases, data modeling, Snowflake, and modern data platforms.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Implement cloud solutions while following networking, security, and IT best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to deliver cloud automation, data, and digital transformation initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Terraform/OpenTofu and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, SQL, databases, and data integration.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar modern data platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, backend development, and cloud-native architecture.
• Good knowledge of networking and IT security fundamentals.
• AWS certification is an added advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
