About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled Liferay Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise portal applications using Liferay. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development skills, hands-on experience with Liferay DXP/Portal, and a good understanding of modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications on the Liferay platform.
- Develop and deploy portlets, themes, layouts, hooks, and OSGi modules.
- Integrate Liferay with third-party applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and backend systems.
- Customize workflows, user management, content management, and portal functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Create technical documentation and provide support during deployments.
Required Skills :
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Liferay development.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with Liferay DXP or Liferay Portal (7.x preferred).
- Proficiency in developing OSGi modules and MVC Portlets.
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
