About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, Shell Scripting, and modern backend technologies to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance backend applications and event-driven systems while working in an Agile development environment.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot, integrating distributed messaging systems like Apache Kafka, automating operational workflows using Shell Scripting, and deploying applications in containerized environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on modern technologies and contribute to mission-critical applications for global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

1.

Backend Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java.
• Develop high-performance enterprise applications following object-oriented programming principles.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
• Participate in application architecture discussions and technical solution design.

2.

Spring Framework Development :

• Develop enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Spring Integration, and Spring Data.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services for distributed applications.
• Integrate applications with databases, messaging platforms, and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.

3. Event-Driven Architecture :

• Design and implement event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop message producers and consumers for real-time data processing.
• Ensure reliable event streaming and asynchronous communication across services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka-based applications.

4.

Shell

Scripting & Automation :

• Develop Shell scripts for application deployment, monitoring, automation, and operational support.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues using scripting and system logs.
• Support operational tooling and maintenance activities.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, including Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Integration, and Spring Data.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Good knowledge of Shell Scripting for automation and operational support.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience with databases such as DB2, Sybase, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Git, IntelliJ IDEA, and/or Visual Studio Code.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
