Data Engineer SQL Python Cloud

Ascendion is looking for an experienced Python Data Engineer who is working on data platforms and who has worked on big-data platforms projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 7+ years of total relevant experience required.

Python programming with python libraries experience (Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark). Python scripting profiles will not work here.

Azure cloud experience.

Database expertise is crucial – advanced SQL, data modelling, and query optimization are key requirements.

Cloud Platforms: Experience with major cloud providers (Azure is must) and their data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).

Ability to explain technical infrastructure and data lineage to non-technical stakeholders.
