Developer/Senior Developer - Node.js Framework

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer/Senior Developer to join our engineering team based in the vibrant tech hub of Goa. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services that power our core product offerings.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps specialists, to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

By leveraging modern architectural patterns, you will directly influence the reliability and speed of our platform, ensuring a seamless experience for our global user base while contributing to the long-term technical roadmap of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and implement robust server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js to ensure high availability and low latency for our end users.
• Design and maintain efficient RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication between microservices, enhancing the overall modularity of our system.
• Optimize database performance by writing complex queries and managing data schemas across both SQL and NoSQL environments like MongoDB to support data-intensive features.
• Integrate cloud-native solutions and CI/CD pipelines on AWS to automate deployment cycles and improve the speed of feature delivery.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate services via Kubernetes, ensuring consistent performance across development and production environments.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior team members to uphold high engineering standards and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated expertise in building scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Proven ability to design and manage microservices-based architectures, ensuring loose coupling and high cohesion within distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in database management, including the ability to model data effectively in MongoDB and perform complex operations in SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS and a solid grasp of DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD workflows.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to manage projects independently.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-quality software in fast-paced, agile environments.
