DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Build, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-management solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Work closely with developers to improve application deployment and operational reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Good understanding of Git and version-control workflows.
• Experience with scripting/programming using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
