The role will require close liaison with development and test teams to increase effectiveness of current dev processes.
You will be helping to shape the way that we use our DevOps tools into the future and innovating to deliver business value and improve the cadence of the entire dev team.
Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless applications, leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies on AWS & Google cloud.
Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins Ansible, Github actions) to streamline provisioning and management of cloud resources.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance, security, and costs, utilizing monitoring tools and logging frameworks (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK Stack).
Participation in an out-of-hours emergency support rota will be required.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and other IT staff.

Skills & technologies REQUIRED :

5 years of relevant industry experience with bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as AWS/Google devops/cloud engineer, or similar role, with hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Good knowledge on containerisation, Kubernetes hands on knowledge on both GKE and EKS.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing, load balancing, and firewall config in cloud environments.
Working experience on Microservices (Deploying, maintaining and monitoring Java, Python and Go web based applications using docker container)
Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and related tools such as Jenkins, Git and Ansible.
Has significant experience in DevOps, SRE implementation and in evolving practices and ways of working through multi-disciplinary teams, business frameworks and culture.
Familiarity with addressing performance and optimization issues, with a demonstrated capability in diagnosing and resolving such problems efficiently.
Experience with software build tools (maven, sbt, node, php, go applications).
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
