We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kong API Gateway, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves close collaboration with development, platform, and operations teams to streamline application deployment, API management, and cloud-native infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Deploy, configure, and administer Kong API Gateway in production environments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
- Implement deployment strategies, including rolling updates, blue-green deployments, and canary releases.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment processes and operational efficiency.
- Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for proactive issue detection.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, APIs, and Kubernetes environments.
- Manage container images, registries, secrets, and environment configurations.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
