Job Description :

Key responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java.
• Build REST APIs and service integrations for internal applications.
• Develop web interfaces and reusable components using Angular and TypeScript.
• Work with MongoDB and relational databases as required.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and working software.
• Write unit tests and support integration and system testing.
• Review code and contribute to development standards.
• Investigate defects, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and support procedures.
• Work with data, AI, product, and engineering teams across locations.
• Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, and release activities.

Required skills and experience :

• 5 to 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Good experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.
• Good experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
• Familiarity with authentication, authorisation, and API security.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good to have :

• Experience working on data platforms, AI applications, or financial services applications.
• Knowledge of Spring Data, Spring Security, or Hibernate.
• Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and container-based development.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.

Education :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
