Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Linux Device Driver Developer with strong expertise in Embedded Linux, Linux Kernel Development, and low-level system programming.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Linux device driver development, BSP customization, kernel-level debugging, and embedded software development for Linux-based systems.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, integrate, and optimize software components for embedded platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, enhance, and debug Linux device drivers for embedded Linux platforms.
- Work on Linux kernel-level development, including :
- Device Driver Development
- Kernel Customization
- BSP (Board Support Package) Bring-up
- System-Level Optimization
- Develop and integrate software components for communication interfaces and protocols, including :
- I2C
- SPI
- UART
- PCIe
- Display Interfaces
- eMMC
- Perform Linux kernel debugging, issue analysis, and performance optimization for embedded software systems.
- Work closely with software, firmware, and hardware teams for system integration, troubleshooting, and feature development.
- Participate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, and development best practices for embedded systems.
- Manage source code, builds, and releases using modern development tools and workflows.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 410 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Linux Device Driver Development.
- Strong proficiency in C Programming with expertise in low-level system programming and Linux-based development.
- Strong understanding of :
- Linux Kernel Internals
- Linux System Architecture
- Embedded Linux Frameworks
- Hands-on experience with :
- Linux Device Drivers
- BSP Development & Customization
- U-Boot
- Yocto
- Git Version Control
- Good understanding of ARM Architecture and Linux-based embedded systems.
- Experience with software debugging, kernel debugging, and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience working with embedded networking, storage, and peripheral drivers.
- Familiarity with embedded system performance tuning and optimization.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies and collaborative software engineering practices.
