We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux GPU Driver Developer with strong expertise in Linux Kernel Driver Development, Imagination (IMG) GPU, and Embedded Systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for GPU bring-up, driver development, pre-silicon enablement, and performance optimization across Synopsys VDK, FPGA, and silicon platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Bring up Imagination (IMG) GPU IP on Synopsys VDK pre-silicon platforms.
- Develop and execute low-level GPU initialization sequences, including power, clocks, resets, and interrupt handling.
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel drivers for Imagination GPUs (Rogue / IMG BXS / BXM / BXE series).
- Integrate GPU driver components, including:
- Rogue Services Layer (Rogue DDK)
- Firmware loading and communication
- GPU MMU (MIPS/AXI MMU)
- Page table and TLB management
- Device memory management
- DMA-BUF integration
- Debug and resolve GPU issues such as hangs, page faults, firmware crashes, scheduling stalls, and performance bottlenecks.
- Validate GPU bring-up across Synopsys VDK, FPGA, and first silicon, ensuring functional consistency across all platforms.
- Develop internal tools for GPU profiling, trace capture, and debugging using PVR debug tools and similar utilities.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and validation teams to support GPU integration and product enablement.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5 years of experience in Embedded Linux Kernel Driver Development.
- Strong expertise in Linux Device Drivers, GPU Driver Development, and Embedded Systems.
- Hands-on experience with Imagination (IMG) GPUs, including Rogue, BXS, BXM, or BXE architectures.
