Embedded Software Engineer - RDK-B Platform

Job Description :

Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for communication and data management systems within gateways.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for gateway devices.
• Develop solutions based on the RDK-B platform.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure system integration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to embedded systems.
• Write technical documentation and software specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and integration testing.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with RDK-B platform.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Proficiency in Linux system programming, multithreading, and IPC mechanisms.
• Experience with CCSP, HAL, and Yocto build systems.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols - TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6.
• Hands-on with tools such as Wireshark, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Git.
• Exposure to DOCSIS, GPON, LTE/5G, Ethernet, prpl, Gstreamer and Wi-Fi 802.11 standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with effective communication skills.
