Embitel Technologies - Java Software Engineer - Diagnostic Systems

Location : Whitefield, Bangalore.

Experience : 3 - 7 years.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and prepare new requirements from diagnostic cross-sectional specifications, change requests, and complaints.
• Coordinate diagnostic sequence requirements with technical development, production, and customer service teams.
• Develop, adapt, and enhance diagnostic sequences (Java jobs).
• Coordinate interfaces between diagnostic sequences (Java jobs), ODX standard data, and test/inspection systems (e.g., ODIS).
• Develop exemplary implementations and perform validation testing.

Must-Have Skills :

• Min 4 years of strong experience in Java 8.
• Experience developing Java jobs for MCD systems.
• IntelliJ IDEA, Gradle, Jenkins (CI/CD), GitHub Enterprise Server & Actions.
• Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
• Experience with Ant/Maven/Gradle and Eclipse.
• Strong knowledge in rezzzv3D (Version 3.0), ISO 14229.

Good-to-Have Skills :

• System & Platform Knowledge on XML, DOORS, Codebeamer, RDX/RAL knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with Volkswagen diagnostic Q-LAH standards.
• Document and visualize diagnostic sequences and test results.
• Provide technical support in committees and meetings.
• Create and manage tickets in JIRA and track change requests.
• Execute testing on VW Group MCD systems.
• Create test specifications and simulation files.
• Maintain and enhance Java job test stations.

Educational Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
