Engineer - Application Engineering

1. Job Objective

Will be responsible for Design, Development of Application engineering projects for the business. He / she will have to comply with the systems, policies and procedures within the design function and will also be responsible for goals within the Business Unit

1. Primary responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Developing projects using engineering principles and techniques with implementation in Design.

Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput of machines.

• Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing, vendors and customers (CAPA) 

Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design

Should Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints while designing.

• Preparing Bill of Material in SAP. 

Time, Cost & documentation control.

 Key Competencies (Functional):

Technically competent and proficient at understanding design of machines

Good knowledge of engineering concepts

Working knowledge of solidedge / solidworks

Strong analytical & mathematical skills

Project planning & costing capabilities

Knowledge of MS office applications (preferably also MS Projects)

Knowledge of SAP Design module (preferable)

BE Mechanical /Production

Experience

4-8 years
