Engineering Manager - Full Stack Development

Role Overview :

Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager with strong Full Stack development expertise for one of our clients in Hyderabad. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on engineering responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, career development planning, and talent management activities.
• Drive recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution across the full software development lifecycle.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Security, and Business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, code quality standards, security requirements, accessibility standards, and operational excellence.
• Support production applications, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements :

• 12 - 18 years of experience with at least 2 years as an Engineering Manager.
• Strong Full Stack Engineering background with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Application Security.
• 80% Hands-on Technical and 20% Team Management split.
• Experience managing a team of at least 6 engineers.
• Active coding and technical leadership experience.
• Experience in architecture, design reviews, production support, and stakeholder management.
