Role Overview :

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge software solutions that power our core platforms. This pivotal role involves hands-on technical leadership, guiding architectural decisions for scalable Java-based microservices on AWS, and fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

You will collaborate extensively with product management, design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic vision into robust technical roadmaps and ensure seamless execution. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional value to users, drive business growth, and maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic technical direction and architectural oversight for complex Java-based systems and cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for critical business operations.
• Lead, mentor, and empower a team of talented software engineers, fostering their professional development, cultivating a collaborative environment, and driving high-quality outcomes.
• Partner closely with product and business leaders to define technical roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and translate evolving requirements into actionable engineering plans that align with organizational goals.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence, to continuously elevate the team's delivery capabilities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communication effectively, articulating technical complexities and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring timely execution, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to architectural standards and business objectives.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale, high-performance applications using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Microservices architecture).
• Proven ability to architect, implement, and manage robust cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EKS, and CloudFormation for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, adept at influencing stakeholders, negotiating priorities, and building strong collaborative relationships across diverse functional teams.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a premier institution.
• Ability to work effectively from our Hyderabad office, collaborating closely with local and global teams to drive project success and foster team cohesion.
