About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and backend development. The ideal candidate should have solid programming fundamentals, experience building scalable and high-performance applications, and the ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently. You will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, optimize, and maintain robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Apply strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
• Design and implement efficient algorithms for performance-critical applications.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with databases and optimize queries, data access, and application performance.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Write unit tests and ensure application reliability and code quality.
• Contribute to system design, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering processes.

Required Skills :

• 5 - 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs / backend services.
• Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or equivalent.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.
• Ability to write production-grade, scalable, and optimized code.

Good to Have :

• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other distributed systems technologies.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
