Job Title : Firmware & Embedded Software Development & Test Engineer (Software QA)

Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive validation plans and test cases for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence features.
- Validate firmware and embedded software functionality across different wireless use cases and customer scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, interoperability, performance, stress, and stability testing of wireless combo products.
- Develop automated test scripts and validation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyze and debug software defects, identify root causes, and collaborate with firmware development teams to resolve issues.
- Validate multi-radio coexistence scenarios involving Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), LE Audio, Zigbee, and Thread technologies.
- Evaluate wireless performance under different RF conditions, interference scenarios, and real-world environments.
- Conduct protocol analysis using industry-standard tools and prepare detailed defect reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Firmware Development, Product Management, Hardware Engineering, System Validation, and Customer Support.
- Participate in feature reviews, design discussions, test planning, and release readiness activities.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, validation reports, automation scripts, and test procedures.
- Ensure software quality through continuous improvement of validation processes and testing methodologies.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software Testing, Firmware Validation, or Software QA.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience working in embedded software or firmware validation environments.
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of WLAN (Wi-Fi) protocols including IEEE 802.11 standards.
- Good knowledge of Bluetooth technologies :

- Understanding of IEEE 802.15.4 technologies such as :

- RF performance characteristics
- Experience validating multi-radio concurrency and coexistence scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with wireless testing and debugging tools including :
- Wireshark
- iPerf

Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux or RTOS environments.

- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Test Management tools.
- Experience working with embedded firmware development teams.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated validation frameworks.
- Knowledge of wireless certification processes is an added advantage.
