FourthPointer Services - Data Analyst - SQL/ETL

Role Overview :

As a Data Analyst based in Noida, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for transforming complex information into clear, visual narratives that guide business stakeholders in optimizing their processes.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will manage the end-to-end data lifecycle - from extraction and cleaning to advanced modeling and reporting - ensuring that the organization maintains a high standard of data integrity and accessibility to support critical business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimise ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and analytical queries.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading activities.
• Monitor data pipelines and identify/resolve data quality or processing issues.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and data-related issues.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across different sources.
• Work with large datasets and optimise SQL queries for better performance.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot ETL/data pipeline failures and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to data processes and pipelines.

Required Skills :

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience as a Data Analyst / ETL Developer / Data-focused role.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills are mandatory.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts and pipeline development.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Experience in data validation, data quality checks, and troubleshooting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Profile :

Candidates with experience in SQL-heavy Data Analyst, ETL, Data Engineering, or Data Pipeline roles will be preferred.

Note :

This is a SQL-intensive role. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on Power BI/dashboard development without strong SQL and ETL exposure may not be suitable.

Avoid :

PySpark.
