About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Node.js and
React to join our growing engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to architecture decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js (Express /
NestJS).
- Build and maintain dynamic, responsive front-end applications using React (v12+).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement clean, performant interfaces.
- Write well-structured, testable, and documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services as required.
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) — design schemas, write optimised queries.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and deployments on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Required Technical Skills
Back-End
- Node.js – Express.js / NestJS framework
- RESTful API design and development
- Authentication & authorisation: JWT, OAuth2.0, session management
- WebSockets / Socket.IO for real-time features
Front-End
- Angular (v12 or above) – components, services, routing, RxJS, NgRx/state management
- TypeScript – strong typing, interfaces, generics
- HTML5, CSS3, SCSS – responsive design, cross-browser compatibility
Databases
- Relational: MySQL / PostgreSQL
- NoSQL: MongoDB / Redis
- ORM/ODM: Sequelize, TypeORM, or Mongoose
DevOps & Tools
- Git – branching strategies (GitFlow), PR reviews
- Docker / containerisation basics
- CI/CD: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI
- Cloud basics: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) or Azure / GCP
- Unit & integration testing: Jest, Jasmine, Karma
Good to Have
- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka).
- Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven design.
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 4–5 years of professional experience in full-stack development with Node.js & Angular.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
