Marketnode is a digital market infrastructure (DMI) operator backed by Euroclear, HSBC, SGX Group and Temasek. We believe in the power of programmable assets and that traditional financial instruments will originated, transacted and served better leveraging emerging technologies such as blockchain. Our approach to building market infrastructure is one of partnership with the industry and in 2024 have successfully launched our first market-wide platform for funds, with credit and structured products to follow 2025 onwards.

At Marketnode, Our DMI Suite Covers The Following

• Data services: AI powered structured data and extraction tools
• Funds & transaction management: operating Fundnode, a funds transaction management and settlement platform
• Digital Assets: multi-asset tokenization, record keeping and asset servicing

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong Java backend expertise and hands-on React experience to join our engineering team.

You will play a key role in building scalable systems, improving developer experience, and contributing to high-quality product delivery in a fast-growing fintech environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend features on our orchestration platform in Java
• Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate feature delivery and test coverage, while maintaining and guiding project-level AI coding standards
• Continuously improve developer experience and codebase efficiency
• Uphold a strong testing and documentation culture
• Provide L3 support for production systems, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of issues

Role Focus

This is a backend-heavy full-stack role, with approximately 80% backend development and 20% frontend development.

The primary focus is on Java and Spring Framework, while React and TypeScript are used for building and maintaining frontend applications.

We're looking for engineers with strong backend expertise who are comfortable contributing across the full stack when needed.

3+ Years Experience with Core Technology Stack

Java

Spring Framework

React

• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Nice to Have

Experience in regulated finance, fintech, or blockchain

Knowledge of data security, segregation, and compliance practices

Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability tooling (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)
