Full Stack Java Developer

We are looking for a JavaScript Engineer with strong hands-on experience to help us build, improve, and scale Draft Bot Pro - an AI-powered legal tech product used daily by lawyers across India.

This is a core engineering role, not a support role. You will work closely with the founders and product team, take ownership of features end-to-end, and help shape a reliable, scalable product.

Frontend

Development (React)**

• Build and maintain complex, user-facing interfaces using React (ES6+)
• Implement clean, intuitive UI flows based on product requirements
• Optimize performance and ensure a smooth user experience
• Work closely with product and design to ship high-quality features

Backend

Development (Node / Express)**

• Develop and maintain backend services using Express.js
• Design APIs to support frontend features
• Handle authentication, authorization, and core business logic
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of backend systems
• *3. Firebase & Infrastructure
• Work extensively with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Functions, etc.)
• Manage data structures and ensure efficient querying
• Handle real-time updates and backend workflows
• Debug and resolve production issues
• *4. Ownership & Execution
• Take full ownership of features from idea → development → deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
• Review code and improve overall engineering quality
• Proactively identify technical debt and suggest improvements
• *5. Collaboration
• Work directly with founders on product decisions
• Collaborate with operations and product teams to solve user problems
• Help translate business and user needs into technical solutions
• *Requirements (Mandatory)
• 4+ years of professional experience as a JavaScript / Full-Stack Engineer
• Strong proficiency in:
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• React
• Node.js & Express.js
• Firebase
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications
• Solid understanding of frontend and backend architecture
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
