Full-Stack Engineer (Python / React / AWS)

Overview A well-established, high-performing engineering organization is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to a large-scale, business-critical internal platform. This system supports core operational workflows and requires a strong emphasis on code quality, maintainability, and ownership .

This is an opportunity for an engineer who approaches development with a systems mindset , understands the broader business context of their work, and is comfortable operating within a complex, mature codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance a large-scale application using Python, React, and AWS across the full stack
• Work within an existing architecture that includes complex business rules and interdependent components
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with established engineering standards
• Ensure strong testing practices, including comprehensive unit test coverage
• Collaborate closely with engineering peers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by evaluating system behavior holistically (data flow, performance, dependencies)
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, and long-term support
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in system design, performance, and reliability

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Python in production environments
• Proficiency with React and modern JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed system design
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and disciplined testing practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
• Experience working within complex, highly customized systems

• Strong emphasis on writing high-quality, maintainable software—not just functional code
• Ability to understand and apply business logic within technical solutions

• Experience with algorithmic problem solving or structured technical interview environments
