Getronics - Senior Java Full Stack Developer - Google Cloud Platform

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end product features and applications.
• Build scalable backend services using Java (8 ) and modern development frameworks.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to build and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

• 5- 10 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above).
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-native application development.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

• Strong understanding of full-stack application development.
• Experience building scalable and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Passion for learning new technologies and solving complex business problems.
