Grid Dynamics - Senior Python Developer - Apache Airflow

Job Description :

We are looking for a Python Developer to work on Digital Demand Sensing (DDS) solutions that support end-to-end consumer and marketplace demand planning. The role involves developing and maintaining Python-based applications, working with cloud infrastructure and data workflows, and ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications and services.
• Contribute to digital demand sensing and demand planning solutions.
• Build and manage data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Work with Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration.
• Develop and maintain database queries and data operations using PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support production stability using New Relic or similar monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to application performance, data processing, and deployment.

Required Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Python and 3 years of overall software development experience.
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Experience with New Relic or similar application monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have :
