Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Developer with strong Python expertise to design, develop, and optimize high-performance computing applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in parallel computing, distributed systems, performance optimization, and scientific/data-intensive workloads. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions for large-scale computations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain HPC applications using Python.
- Implement parallel and distributed computing solutions using frameworks such as MPI, OpenMP, Dask, Ray, or Spark.
- Optimize computational workloads for multi-core CPUs and GPUs.
- Work with large-scale datasets and improve algorithmic efficiency.
- Develop and maintain performance benchmarking and profiling tools.
- Collaborate with research, data science, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Deploy and manage applications on HPC clusters and cloud-based HPC environments.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and system-level issues.
Required Skills &
Qualifications :
- 5 years of software development experience with strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience in parallel programming (MPI4Py, multiprocessing, threading).
- Experience with HPC frameworks and distributed computing tools.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with SLURM, PBS, or other job schedulers.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, profiling, and memory optimization.
- Experience with scientific libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Singularity.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred / Good to Have :
- Experience with cloud HPC environments.
- Exposure to GPU computing and workload optimization.
- Experience handling scientific or large-scale data processing workloads.
