About the Role :

Finneva is looking for a Java + AI Engineer who can combine strong Java development expertise with practical experience in building and integrating AI-powered solutions. You will work on enterprise applications where AI capabilities are integrated into scalable backend systems, APIs, and business workflows.

What Youll Work On :

• Build and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Develop AI-powered features and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Work with AI/ML, Generative AI and LLM-based use cases.
• Develop APIs and services that connect AI components with Java applications.
• Evaluate AI models and select appropriate approaches based on business requirements.
• Build reliable, production-ready AI integrations and workflows.
• Optimize application and AI solution performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across application and AI components.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to convert requirements into practical solutions.

Required Skills :

• 3 - 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence / AI solutions.
• Exposure to Machine Learning, Generative AI or LLMs.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities with backend applications.
• Good understanding of API-based application development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Spring Boot / REST APIs.
• Experience with LLM APIs and AI application development.
• NLP or Deep Learning exposure.
• Experience taking AI-enabled features to production.
• Knowledge of cloud-based AI services.
