Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable backend applications, developing RESTful APIs, and working with React.js for front-end integration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with front-end teams and contribute to React.js components when required.
• Build secure, high-performance, and maintainable applications following software engineering best practices.
• Work closely with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration activities.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices.

Required Skills :

• 6-9 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of React.js for UI development and integration.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git, version control, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.

Education (Mandatory) :

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MS, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
