Java Backend Developer

TechDoQuest is hiring a Java Developer to build and enhance APIs and integrations. You will work with architects, business analysts, and development teams to deliver reliable services that support customer and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build integrations between ecommerce platforms and enterprise systems.
• Translate business requirements into API designs and technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot API defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and technical discussions with teams in Canada and India.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Experience with microservices, JSON, SQL databases, and API authentication.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Ability to investigate integration issues across multiple systems and communicate findings clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying or supporting applications in GCP.
• Exposure to ecommerce, order management, inventory, or other enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with API gateways, messaging, or event-driven integrations.
