Java Backend developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java 8 (Java8), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to build and maintain high-performance backend systems. The role involves developing RESTful Web Services and deploying cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 8 / Java8
• Develop and consume REST Web Services using Spring Boot
• Design and implement Microservices-based architectures
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications on Azure/AWS
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term fixes

Required Skills:

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development
• Strong expertise in Java 8 (Java8)
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
• Proficiency in developing RESTful Web Services
• Experience working with Cloud platforms – Azure and/or AWS
• Strong understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT)
