Detailed Job Description:
· Bachelor's degree in computer engineering/science.
· 8+ years of experience in Java Springboot development
- 8+ years of Application Development in Java/J2EE - Servlets/JSP/JSF/EJB3/Java Persistence
- 5+ years of Web Services / API Development of RESTful (json) services
- 5+ years' experience working within a Linux/Unix environment
- 3+ years' experience with RDMS; PostgreSQL preferred.
- Familiarity with Unit, Regression & e2e Testing principles & practices.
- 5+ years experience working with distributed source control using e.g. Git, and common branching and merging strategies.
· Working Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Experience of Spring or similar frameworks
· Familiarity with containerization methodologies i.e. Docker
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins / Azure
