Role Overview
We are looking for a Java Developer Intern who is eager to build robust backend systems and work on real-world software applications. This role offers hands-on exposure to object-oriented programming, backend development, and application architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices
- Assist in building APIs and integrating backend services
- Work with databases to store and manage application data
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve application performance
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Document technical workflows and development processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development tasks
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Java programming and OOP concepts
- Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Hibernate is a plus
- Understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Java-based academic or personal projects
- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend systems
- Basic understanding of version control tools like Git
