Java Developer (JSP- Servlets)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to build and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, JSP, Servlets, and a good understanding of MVC architecture, with Struts experience as an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Core Java, JSP, and Servlets

• Build and maintain MVC-based applications (Struts framework preferred)

• Develop backend business logic ensuring performance and scalability

• Integrate applications with relational databases using JDBC and SQL

• Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat / WebLogic servers

• Perform bug fixing, performance tuning, and code optimization

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17)

• Expertise in JSP and Servlets (mandatory)

• Good understanding of Struts (added advantage)

• Solid experience with JDBC and SQL databases

• Experience in application deployment on Tomcat/WebLogic

• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SOLID principles

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production systems

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related field

• 7–10 years of hands-on Java development experience

• Experience working in enterprise or product-based environments

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Self-driven and able to handle responsibilities independently

• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
