Job Summary :

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Java backend development to join our Core Platform team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and backend application development. You will work closely with architects, tech leads, QA, and product teams to build scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
Deliver complex features with high-quality, maintainable code.
Collaborate with architects, technical leads, QA, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production applications.
Contribute to technical documentation and design discussions.

Required Skills :

2+ years of experience in enterprise backend application development.
Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above and Java runtime concepts.
Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable application design.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Familiarity with performance tuning, code profiling, and application runtime analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of managed databases such as DynamoDB, BigQuery, Bigtable, or Cosmos DB.
Experience with messaging services such as SQS, Pub/Sub, or Service Bus.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
Understanding of cloud security best practices.
Exposure to Big Data technologies.
Experience supporting SaaS applications is an added advantage.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
