Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Description :

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our client's engineering team and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will work closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Java-based frameworks.
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance and reliability.
• Work with databases and integrate applications with internal and third-party systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and development standards.

Required Skills :

• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or similar Java frameworks.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of Git and version control.
• Knowledge of software design principles and development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have :

• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
