Job Title : Backend Engineer (Java + AWS)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Work on system integration, performance tuning, and production support.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure application security, coding standards, and best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production and lower environments.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills :

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as :

i. EC2

ii. Lambda iii. S3

iv. RDS v. ECS/EKS vi. API Gateway vii. CloudWatch viii. IAM

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

• AWS Certification is a plus.
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to React or Angular is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Experience working with global delivery teams and client-facing environments.
