Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience developing scalable applications, working with RESTful APIs, and implementing automated testing frameworks in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Build and consume REST APIs to support business requirements.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous refactoring activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Core Java concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging/data streaming platforms.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of ReactJS and/or Node.js.
• Experience with Postman scripting.
• Experience with Selenium automation testing.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database and Stored Procedures.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Drools Rule Engine.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Experience breaking down large projects into smaller user stories and prioritizing deliverables.
• Exposure to pair programming and continuous refactoring practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
