Job Description – Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer

Role: Java / Spring Boot / Microservices Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Work with databases, write efficient queries, and optimize application performance.

• Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, debugging, and deployment.

• Follow coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java.

• Strong experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.

• Good experience in Microservices architecture.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs / Web Services.

• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

• Exposure to Kafka or other messaging technologies.

• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit/Mockito.

Experience

5–9 years of relevant experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong backend development experience, good problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise-grade Microservices applications will be preferred.
