Position: Java Full Stack Developer

Developers will work on Newgen’s LMS, CMS, LOS, SRM, and ECM platforms, focusing on full-stack development.

• Develop and optimize Loan Management System (LMS).
• Work on database schema design, SQL performance tuning, and backend logic.
• Develop integrations with payment gateways, credit bureaus, and risk systems.
• Build and manage Collection Management System (CMS) and Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Implement automated workflows for document and records management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services and databases.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with both front-end and back-end components.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Work with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js to create modern, responsive user interfaces.
• Handle database design and optimization using SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL.
• Ensure scalability and reliability of the systems in a cloud environment.

Continuously improve development processes, ensuring alignment with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) or back-end development.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), including schema design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
