We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, database technologies, Spark, Any Frontend and strong knowledge of design patterns and cloud platforms (AWS and GCP) based out of Pune or Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spark.
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions.
- Apply design patterns and best practices to build maintainable and extensible systems.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and ensure database performance.
- Work with PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Observer, etc.).
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with large-scale data processing and ETL workflows.
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or similar.
