Java Full Stack Developer

Veraxion is looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team and work on enterprise applications, full-stack development, application modernization, and accessibility (ADA/WCAG) improvements.

Experience: 3–6 years

What we are looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring MVC and Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and full-stack development
• Experience implementing ADA/WCAG accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation, screen readers, ARIA, focus management, forms and accessibility fixes
• Familiarity with JUnit/Mockito, Git, Maven and Jenkins
• Strong debugging, production support and defect-analysis skills

What you’ll do

• Maintain and enhance existing enterprise monolithic applications
• Trace and troubleshoot issues across the application stack — UI → Controller → Service → DAO → Database
• Develop business changes within an existing customized MVC framework
• Implement and validate ADA/accessibility fixes at the code and component level
• Optimize SQL/Hibernate queries and improve application performance
• Support production issues, releases and regression testing

Good to haveExperience with WebSphere, Tomcat or Open Liberty, particularly in large legacy enterprise applications. Interested or know someone who would be a great fit?
