Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Build high-performance event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and integrate APIs with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Implement Microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Design Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and message processing workflows.
• Ensure API security, scalability, performance, and high availability.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business stakeholders, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
• Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.

Required Skills :

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Streams).
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with API Gateway and API Management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, messaging patterns, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience working with reputed MNCs.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• AWS/Azure certification is an added advantage.
