Conquer AI deploys production-ready AI systems for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 clients. We're scaling fast. A growing client in India needs a Java & Python Engineer to build the backend behind their platform, with AI already on the roadmap.

The reality of this role The AI gets the attention, but none of it runs without a solid backend. This client needs someone who can build and ship backend services and APIs in Java and Python, not just prototype them. You'll work with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. If the platform is fragile, the AI on top of it doesn't matter. You'll work alongside the client's AI and data teams as they roll out LLM-integrated features, not just support them from a distance.

What you'll own

Backend services and APIs in Java and Python Microservices shipped on AWS, Azure or GCPDocker, Kubernetes, and the CI/CD pipelines behind them The technical partnership with data science and AI teams on LLM-integrated features

Who you are

4+ years in Java (Spring Boot) and Python

Comfortable with microservices, REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases

Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure orGCP)Solid Git and Agile delivery habits

Exposure to LangChain or OpenAI API integrations is a plus

Experience with FastAPI and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) is a plus

Where you're coming from Backend Engineer or Software Engineer, strong in both Java and Python. You've shipped real backend systems before, not just side projects. Now you want AI on the roadmap, not the whole job.
