Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles

• Participate in detailed refinement of requirements and arrive at Test Design and approach to test the feature.

• Ensure that testing activities comprehensively validate applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.

• Understand the automation framework in Java, selenium, API testing and develop & maintain effective acceptance, integration and regression test cases that fully test the requirements and automate them using selenium, postman and troubleshoot issues in the suite.
• Able to suggest and establish practices that lead to higher test stability by identifying methods of testing - not only the code the test is intended to validate, but the test code itself
• Work directly with developers and architects to assess the testing & automation strategy for features under test
• Work with the team to define effective regression suites
• Responsible for configuration management of documents, code, tests, and artifacts related to tasks
• Setup and maintain local test environment(s)
• Perform database verification
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
• Analyze test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience as an SDET and contributed to both manual and automation areas
• Strong Functional Testing Fundamentals including testcase creation, execution and writing effective bug reports.
• Hands on experience of 2 years in programming and contributed towards API and UI Automation using Java/Selenium/Winappdriver, Cucumber/BDD for Desktop/Web based applications.
• Experience with Database using Oracle, SQL server or any RDBMS database.
• Strong knowledge of software testing best practices and methodologies in an Agile methodology.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills,
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Desired Skills

• Performance Testing skills using Jmeter would be an advantage.
• Healthcare domain experience a plus
