Role overview

We are looking for a Java / JavaScript Full Stack Developer with 2–3 years of experience to join our growing engineering team in the billing and enterprise software domain. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of scalable backend services and modern web applications, working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will be involved in designing, developing, testing and maintaining APIs and user interfaces while following engineering best practices and contributing to a collaborative development environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Develop and enhance responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React.js (or similar).
• Participate in technical discussions, story refinement, estimation and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues across the full stack.
• Contribute to improving software quality through unit testing, integration testing and automation.
• Work with relational databases and optimize queries for application performance.
• Learn and adopt new technologies and development practices as required by the project.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in full stack application development.
• Strong programming experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA and RESTful API development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and at least one modern frontend framework, preferably React.js.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web development principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build tools (Maven/Gradle) and containerization (Docker is a plus).
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Good problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.

Must have skills:

• Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs

• SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Git, Agile/Scrum, Problem Solving and Debugging

Good to have skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and API testing tools.
• Knowledge of caching, messaging systems, or distributed application design is a plus.
