Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a NodeJS Developer. The NodeJS Developer will be responsible for developing back-end components, creating APIs, and maintaining seamless functionality between the server and front-end systems.
Responsibilities will include optimizing performance, debugging, testing, and implementing secure coding practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers and product stakeholders, will also be key to crafting exceptional user experiences. This role supports dynamic problem-solving and innovative software development in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks like Express.js
- Experience with API design, development, and integration (RESTful, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong foundation in debugging, testing (Jest, Mocha), and optimizing server-side applications
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Vue.js) for full-stack collaboration
- Understanding of secure coding practices and experience with authentication and authorization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in an EdTech or digital transformation environment is a plus
