Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Python Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals with 0-1 year of experience who are passionate about programming, backend development, automation, and building scalable software solutions.

You will work closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications while gaining hands-on exposure to modern frameworks, APIs, databases, and software engineering practices.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
• Support backend development using Python frameworks
• Build and integrate REST APIs and work with databases
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams
• Support automation initiatives and continuous application improvements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 0-1 year of experience in Python development, software engineering, or a related role
• Good understanding of Python programming, object-oriented programming, and data structures
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and backend development
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or deployment processes
• Basic understanding of unit testing frameworks such as Pytest
• Interest in AI, machine learning, automation, or data engineering
• Academic projects, internships, or GitHub repositories demonstrating Python development skills
